There are only 2 schools to get the required training to become a licensed bondsman in North Carolina. You can pay $500 and spend two days in Raleigh at a school whose January 2012 comprehensive test fail rate was 24%.* (But, they do give you a free calculator.)
...you can come to us (our current pass rate is 100%) to get the job done. You'll spend $475 and a day and a half. You will be provided with your own android tablet reader for class (available for purchase if you want), the newest textbook, laws, study aids and an accompanying reference CD. You will have a seasoned bail bondsman, approved by the Department of Insurance, as your instructor who will take a very personal interest in your goals and achievement. You will be taught not only to pass the required state exam, but you will also receive 'real world' training that will make you more employable and successful.
All of our students enjoy unlimited access to our exclusive internet study guides and academy advisors while waiting to take the state exam. This means you can study from your smart phone or home computer, and you are always welcome to contact us with any questions prior to exam time. We take pride in helping you succeed.
We'll give you almost everything you'll need to start working in your new occupation -- a complete set of laws, required forms, necessary office supplies, even handcuffs! We also provide job placement assistance.**
You should be aware of two state laws that may surprise you. First, you will have to work under a supervising bondsman for one year. Our job placement assistance may prove valuable to you if you have not addressed this.
Second, if you fail the state exam, you cannot take it again for a year. By that time, your course completion certificate will have expired, and, by law, you must take the course again. Your course fee, exam fee, application fee and your time are at risk if you don't get the right training the first time. In the unlikely event you take our course and don't pass the state exam, we will provide the pre-licensing course again at half price as soon as you are eligible.
